On Tuesday 24th November, Lizzie Perrotte from London Art Studies came by the gallery to deliver a talk on the top 10 art experiences of 2015. In addition to her lecturing work with London Art Studies, she is also the Programme Director of Modern and Contemporary Art at Christie’s Education.
The lecture was a highly personal list of what Perrotte considers to have been the top 10 art experiences of 2015, including the Venice Biennale and Frieze London Art Fair. She spoke to a packed crowd about the process of ascribing value to different art events.
Kate Gordon founded London Art Studies in 2011, anticipating the need for shorter – and more accessible – art courses. Kate’s inspiration was the huge increase of interest in the arts over the past 10 years, as well as the desire to make education more exciting.
